The Wedding

On June 20th my Dad was remarried. He met and fell in love with a wonderful person, Laura Christensen. Their courtship was a little unconventional as Dad lived in Virginia and Laura lived in Georgia. Most of it was done over the internet- email, skyping, texting, phone calls. Living so far apart made it difficult to see each other often. One thing about my Dad though is that as soon as he makes up his mind about something, he just goes ahead and does it! They decided to get married in Utah- which made me happy as I didn't have to go far. Laura only had two children living here at the time (going to BYU), her other children live all over (Denver, Kentucky, and Thailand). It was a perfect day for a wedding.

Before the ceremony we went over to the grounds around temple square and took our picture by the temple.

Pug and I were never able to get a picture here when we were married because the whole plaza was under construction. So this is our first picture together on this!

The temple is AMAZING!!
