Cameron's first day of Kindergarten

It was Cameron's first day of kindergarten on Monday. We was beyond thrilled! He woke up at 6:30 and came it ready to go to school. Too bad it didn't start until 9:15 that morning. After school I asked him how it went and he told me he wanted to go back. I told him that he would be going back again tomorrow- no he wanted to go back right then. Needless to say he loves school and is happy that he has so many new friends.

Family Pictures

After our family reunion on Saturday we had family pictures taken. My friend Kate- who is a wonderful photographer (www.jeppsonstudios.com)- took our pictures. These are just some candid shots that we took ourselves, they are no where as good as hers though.

Family Times

Last Saturday we had a family reunion with the extended McCullough side. We had it at Classic Fun Center in Sandy- my Dad's cousins own it. It was a blast. The kids- and I must admit the grown-ups too- really loved the bounce zone. Plus they had the skating and water slides open for us as well. After the reunion my parents took all of us out to lunch at the Myan. Yes, all of us- that would be 10 adults and 11 children! What a crowd. It was great fun to get together with everyone.

The first soccer game of the season

Cameron's first time at being goalie and he loved it. Here he is diving to make the save.
McKenzie is having a blast as well- their team won the game 5-3. Go Golden Rhinos!

Sweet's Candy Factory

The crazy kids at McDonald's after the candy factory
Abby with her hair net- she got a little messy with the samples, so we had to go and wash it out.
Cameron with his hairnet and a mouthful of taffy.
Logan and Kimball- I think Kimabll likes the candy!
Yes, even the baby had to wear a hairnet.
Don't we all look so cute?

A big thanks to Melissa and especially her sister Steph for inviting my kids and me to go on a tour to the Sweet's candy factory. It was a wonderful diversion for Cameron who has been having a hard time with having to wait a week to be able to go to kindergarten. Unfortunately the free samples were so good that I had to go and buy some candy there. Although I must say it does taste better there than when you buy it at the stores- much fresher!! After wards Melissa and I took the kids to McDonald's for Happy Meals. Thanks again guys for the fun day!!

Bee's Game

McKenzie and Megan at the Bee's game
Cameron and the boys, Cody and Caleb
Abby and Daddy enjoying the game
Cameron and Mom (sorry not a good pic of me!)
Good times!
Last Monday night we went to the Bee's game with our good friends the Walton's. It is always so much fun to get together with them. Abby still has a hard time with sittig still for much of anything, so needless to say we ended up at the grass area- which was better anyways because it felt much cooler over there.

McKenzie's First Day of 2nd Grade!

McKenzie and her good friend Megan on the first day of school.

Abby and Cameron wanted to have their pictures taken as well.

McKenzie sporting her new backpack and some of her school clothes. I can't believe how old she is!
So, Monday was the first day of school for McKenzie. She was so excited- although I don't know who was more, her or me, it was a toss up. Cameron, however, was not as happy. The kindergartners start a week later to give the teachers time for a one-on-one assessment for each of the students. He did not think that it was fair that he had to stay home, but Kenzie got to go to school. Oh well, he'll live. I think that McKenzie is going to have a great class. For starters he best friend Amariah is in her class again! Mrs. Webb just better watch out for those two talking too much! Plus there are quite a few kids in her class that I know and think that they are wonderful kids. I still can't believe that she is already in 2nd grade- what happened to my little baby? Time flies by- that is for sure.

Happy Birthday

Okay, so last Wednesday was my birthday. I don't get upset-yet- when I have a birthday and get older. Of course I am only 29, so maybe in a few years I might change my mind. I just wanted to say thank you to my good friends and family for making it a great birthday. Pug is great to me. I have had quite a few "girls night out" lately and he hasn't said a word about having to stay at home with the kids while I go out and party. So, anyways... on my birthday it was pretty much a quiet day. It was the first day that I didn't have to go an run all over the place in like a week, so it was good to stay at home. Then McKenzie had dance that night so we went to Arctic Circle for dinner before her class. While she was at dance we ran over to Smith's to get a cheesecake and some cherry and raspberry topping for it. Mmmmmm good stuff! After dance we went home and had our good friends the Naccarato's over for some cake. Oh, Pug got me a Kitchen aid mixer- the nice stand ones...Yippee!. So that was fun. Then the next day I went out to dinner with my friends- there are 4 of us that grew up together and all of our birthday's are within a 3 week period. How fun was that! It is always fun to reminisce of the good ol' days and see what everyone is up to. I miss seeing them- we all live in different counties, but at least we are all still in Utah! And then on Friday I went down to my sister's house with Melissa for a shoe party. What a crazy week! Thanks again Babe for watching the kids all the time and not complaining!! I love you!

Echo Reservoir

How do we get those kids to sit down?

That's my Cameron up on two skis with our friend Ryan.

I took all the kids on the knee board. They loved it.

Fun times in the sun.

Poor Abby was just too tired!!

On Saturday we went up to Echo Reservoir to go boating with people from Pug's work. We had so much fun. The kids were so good. They loved playing in the water, going knee boarding, tubing, and skiing. And of course going fast on the water. Poor McKenzie got some sort of stomach bug that morning so we spent a couple of times over the side of the boat "feeding fish," but after lunch she was doing just great. On the way home Cameron pipes up, "Mom, when are we going to get a boat?" Not soon enough for him unfortunately.

Real Salt Lake

Last Thursday I took the girls to a baby shower for my cousin. So Pug had Cameron for the night. Luckily it was the "Meet the team night" for Real season pass holders. Out of all the pictures that Pug took I was able to find 2 with Cameron in them! j/k. They both had a blast. It was hard to tell who was more excited about it- I actually think that it was Pug. But, Cameron and McKenzie are both playing soccer this year. In fact they are going to be on the same team. After last year with Cameron scoring sooo many goals in the U6 division we thought it would be best to challenge him this year. We put him in the U8 with McKenzie. Cameron is really excited because the U8 division has goalies, which is the position that he wants to be. Oh, and of course Pug will be the coach again this year.

McCullough Family Reunion

How cute!! Abby and her cousin Jakob holing hands.
My brother B.J. took out Abby's stitches while we were there too!

Having fun riding a pony!

All of my siblings, their spouses and their children
Last Saturday we had a reunion with the McCullough side of the family. We went to Wheeler Farm and had a blast. The kids were able to go on a few pony rides, we went on a wagon ride and they even brought a blow up bounce house. And of course there was good company and good food. A big thank you to my wonderful Grandma for throwing such a wonderful reunion!! We love you Grandma "Little Piggy!"
