The Bees Game, School Dance, and a Birthday

So, the last few weeks seemed to be crazy, but time is it not crazy? Two Monday's ago we went to the Bee's game with our good friends the Walton's. Our original decision for going in May was so that we could go before it became "Amazon Hot" unfortunately we went during the latest heat wave. At 6:30 when we pulled into the parking lot it was 95*! So, we got the heat, but it was so much fun to be there with good friends we hardly noticed!

Each year in school every grade gets to put on a program. Cameron did the bugs and Kenzie was able to learn a new dance. They learned a Mexican dance- complete with costumes (sewed by the parents, including me). They looked so good out there and did a fantastic job.

And last but not least, it was Jeff's birthday on Tuesday. He turned 32. I am so lucky to have someone like him to be able to spend eternity with. He is my best friend. He is so unselfish and is always giving of himself and his time to me and our kids. I love you Pug! Happy Birthday!

Moving On

It is official... we are going to be moving. Well, I guess it isn't totally official (we have to sell it first), but we have it on the market. Our original plan was to stay in this house for about 5 years and then upgrade. But with the price of homes right now and the intrest rate where it is at it just made sense to upgrade now. We are most likely going to build again- the incentives they are offering now are amazing. So, if we do sell it quickly we will have to find a short-term lease, preferably month to month. So, if anybody knows of anything like that near the Lehi area let me know :) Also, if anyone knows of anybody looking to buy....

Why can't I stay caught up?

I don't know why I am having such a hard time keeping up on my blogging, but here I go again with a bunch of different pictures. We bought ourselves a Tracy Aviary pass and on the first Thursday of every month we get to go to the zoo for free, so, here are a few pictures of us at the zoo.

All of the monkeys "hanging" out at the monkey house.

Cameron had a Kindergarten program where they all sang songs about bugs and things they had learned about bugs. Well, they also had to dress up like a bug. So, with all the creativity that I really don't have a made a spider costume. He wore black pants, and a black turtlneck. I had taken 2 pairs of little girl tights and cut the legs off, stuffed the legs, sewed them closed and safety pinned them to the shirt. Then i took fishing line and tied the arms together so they all moved when he lifted his arms. I thought I had a better picture than this, but I couldn't find it. But it worked and he looked great!
