Playing Catch up...again

It seems like this past month has passed by way too fast again. Here are a few pictures of some of the things that we have been up to.

Cameron started up playing soccer again. We signed him up in Saratoga Springs because EM doesn't have spring soccer. He loves being goalie and was thrilled that he was the first one to be goalie.

Jeff was able to take Cameron- along with our good friend Jason and his two boys- to the spring scrimage up at the University of Utah. Go Utes!!

During spring break we went to the Living Planet Aquarium with our good friends the Nacarratos. Next time we go I really hope that it isn't quite so crowded.

Easter 2009

Easter this year was another wonderful holiday. I love the fact that Easter doesn't seem too over merchandised, so I feel like we can better focus on the true meaning of Easter. Our Bunny doesn't go overboard on baskets here either. For the last two years they have gotten seeds in their baskets and have loved it. (Hopefully this years growing season is better than last years!)

A trip to the Farm

Last Thursday we were able to go to the farm at Thanksgiving Point with our good friends the Naccaratos. This time of year is the best time to go. They had so many baby animals! There were baby chicks, a calf, baby bunnies, goats. The kids had a blast. And it was right before the big storm Thursday night, so there was hardly anyone there- maybe 10 other people on the whole farm!




And of course no trip to the faem is complete without a pony ride! (free with your admission!)

Yes I know she is 2 1/2 years old, but i just couldn't bring myself to cut it yet. But it was just really uneven and out of control. So, some places got 2 inches cut off and others were only anout 1/4 inch. Needless to say she looks much better.

Grandparents

Pug's Grandpa Fetzer has had an amazing life. He was the church architect for many years and designed many of the temples throughout the world. He is also very meticulous about the details of his life and records everything. And so, a few yeas back he compiled the events of his life into an amazing book and had one printed in a nice large leather bound book for each child grandchild and great-grandchild. Each great-grandchild would receive their books when they turned 8 (usually at their baptism). Unfortunately Grandpa and Grandma Fetzer are not doing very well health wise and were not able to make it to McKenzie's baptism. So, last Saturday we made the trip up to their house to visit with them and for them to give McKenzie her book. We love that we have such an amazing heritage (from all sides of our family). The kids loved being able to visit and spend some quality time with such amazing people. We love you Grandma and Grandpa Fetzer!
