This summer we were able to get all of us together for a fun and exciting trip to Payson Lake. Even though Dad and Laura weren't able to stay with us for very long, it was still fun to be able to be all together. I miss having my parents close by to do things with. Thank goodness for close family relationships. This trip was just what was needed! It was great to get away from any all all cell phone service, away from practices, and to just be together. It was fun fishing, swimming in the lake, relaxing, and being together. I hope we can do it more often!

Vegas!
Our second annual trip to Vegas happened in July. It was HOT, but luckily not as hot as last year. This year we only were at 105, last year we melted at 118!!
Somehow I only got these pictures of our trip... need to do better next time for sure! Most of our days were spent at the pool. With Pug working and me not having a car that's about all we could do. Kenzie spent a lot of time with her best friend Anneka that moved there 2 years ago.
Here we are eating dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe.
They always have the coolest displays at the Bellagio.

Dog Lake Hike
Before selfie with a few from our group before hiking to Dog Lake. Not quite as many smiles, lots of dirt and sweat, and some blood is how we ended the 6 mile hike. I thought it was a fun way to start off the 4th! Cameron was off with his cousin David- so he's not in the picture.

Aaronic Priesthood
The Sunday after Cameron turned 12, he was able to receive the Aaronic Priesthood. I am so proud of him and the life he has lived. He has lived his life in such a way as to be found worthy to receive the priesthood. And Cameron has taken that responsibility very seriously. He is one of the first Deacons there on Sunday to pass the sacrament, he is always there- without complaint- to do fast offerings, he has helped with service projects willingly. I am just amazed at the change in Cameron since being ordained.
Cameron's 12th Birthday!!
Cameron turned 12 this year!! I can't believe how quickly time passes by! Cameron is such a sweet kid. He loves little kids, and seems to attract the attention of them. He is so good to play with them, to help and teach them. Cameron is smart too. Things come very easily to him- especially math (and random facts!). I am so glad that I have been chosen to have Cameron as a son. I love you Buddy!!
